We organise and attend a variety of events throughout the year where you can come and meet us, find out more about what we do and how we can help, and how you can get involved with local, good food in Neath Port Talbot. Check here or on our Facebook page for updates.

Community Growing Events 2026–27

We regularly organise events for the NPT Community Growing Network, to promote the brilliant work taking place in communities, and to enable organisations to share knowledge and insight with each other.

Tuesday 28th July, 2.00–3.30pm – Visit to Skewen Community Garden
Come and see this delightful community garden and hear from the volunteers there about how their garden started about and how they make it work for the people of Skewen. Meet other community growing groups from across the county and learn from each other. Keep Wales Tidy will also be attending to share opportunities for FREE garden packages for communities.

This event is free to attend and is open to representatives from any community growing groups in Neath Port Talbot. Light refreshments will be available, so please let us know if you plan to attend by emailing: nptfood@4theregion.org.uk

Skewen Community Garden is in Skewen Park, SA10 6NP, entrance off Pen yr Alley Avenue.
