This week, at the Wales Real Food & Farming Conference (WRFFC) held in Bridgend, the Neath Port Talbot Food Partnership was proudly and formally welcomed into the Sustainable Food Places (SFP) network.

The WRFFC is an independent, national gathering bringing together farmers, food businesses, educators, campaigners and others committed to food sovereignty, social justice, public health and sustainable land-use in Wales.
Over the three-day event, delegates from across Wales came together to explore how we might map out a truly sustainable 21st-century food system for Wales.
We’d like to thank everyone who has been part of our journey so far — your dedication to making healthy, sustainable food a defining characteristic of our communities is inspiring. Being admitted into the SFP network marks a significant milestone for Neath Port Talbot and positions us even more strongly to work with national partners, share best practice and amplify our impact.
As we move forward, we look to build on the energy of the conference, drawing on the ideas, connections and momentum generated there—and making sure the benefit is felt here in Neath Port Talbot.
