On Wednesday 24th September, we were proud to sponsor It’s Your Neath Port Talbot 2025, a vibrant showcase of local voices, ideas and businesses shaping the future of Neath Port Talbot. The event brought people together from across the county to share stories, explore opportunities, and celebrate the positive things happening in our communities.
A particular highlight for us was hearing from network member Rosa Cundill, who shared her inspiring journey as a young entrepreneur. From her teenage dream of running her own bakery, inspired by cooking at home with her parents, Rosa took every opportunity to learn her craft—including training in a Romanian bakery. With the support of her family, she turned that dream into reality, establishing her bakery right here in Neath. Today, her business is thriving, with a loyal customer base and a growing team.
Rosa and her family haven’t stopped there. They have recently launched The Neath Deli, just around the corner from the bakery. This new venture is set to become a hub for locally produced, wholesome food in the heart of Neath town centre—a perfect fit with the values of the NPT Food Partnership.
We were delighted to celebrate Rosa’s story and to stand alongside so many others at It’s Your Neath Port Talbot 2025 who are driving positive change for our local economy, our high streets, and our food system.
